How often are you actually changing the gear oil in your drive, whether it's a merc, volvo, or whatever?

every 15-20 hrs for me on an IMCO drive

What fluid are you running in your drive? I think I am going to start running the royal purple because I'm running that in my motor with good success.

At the yearly service which in hours is about 40 hrs. Along with impeller, and all other fluids, filters and check alignment!!!!!!!!!!! ;) Oil change in motor at 20 hr intervals also<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> Maintain, maintain :D NSF

every other oil change and i do that around 20 hours

Same here. I guess we don't get to use our boats enough to need two changes. :(

Every 20 hours for me. It is cheap insurance. Watch the oil coming out and if it looks like glitter, get it looked at ASAP before something goes away and takes out the rest of your drive. :( I run Mobil 1 full synthetic gear oil in my drive. That is what the Bravo Shop suggested that I run (B-Max).
