After hours of punching keys on the keyboard, some San Francisco Bay Area employees are blowing off steam punching each other.
They're part of The Gentlemen's Fighting Club created in the San Francisco Bay Area, NBC's Bob Redell reported.
Similar to the 1999 movie "Fight Club," the group meets at an undisclosed location.
"Legally, police don't have a problem with The Gentlemen's Fighting Club, because it takes place on private property between consenting adults -- unless of course, someone were to get hurt and end up in the hospital," said one member of the club.
So far, there haven't been any serious injuries; just a couple welts and bruises.
The combatants spar with a variety of weapons, including sticks, chairs, keyboards and vacuum cleaners.
The Gentlemen's Fighting Club fights stereotypes about geeks, Redell reported.
"It's basically that geeks are a little bit more than what you see in the cubical," said one member. "They are full-body people too, with a sense of adventure and this is what they want to do."
The club has two rules: 1) Do not humiliate the other person, and 2) Do not try to put the other person in the hospital.
People looking to join the club may have to wait a while. The group is invite-only.
