Your welcome to hitch a ride, or I might just let you take it out there for me.....if Kurt can handle all that hp after playing with the Rat........dont forget your floatie....LMAO!

Where to find the mullet
If not on the street you best bet is to try sporting events, IT departments or bars with no women in them. The Mullet is making a comeback in French teenage culture, it appears that the early enforced ridicule of their parents is showing up again in their late teens.
Where are mullets going?
There appears to be a genetic component to Mullets, more and more mullets are finding each other and breeding!!

You mean Hair wise.....Not a chance..But if the top keeps fallin' out..I may not have a choice...
And besides...there's SNAKES there......

Her454
06-26-2003, 11:03 AM
Snakes? Yikes! Where? heheheh. Not funny really, but they are not in the water...so far anyway. Check out one of the OP6 threads and the nasty devil swimming by someones swimstep.....Thats way worse than the CFW Guru/K-Flat Snake. (Although it scared the shi* out of me)

I've seen them in the water at Berryessa a few times..and all over on the roads....I don't care if they taste like chicken....Still don't like them.... smile_sp In 77 or 78, after the long drought, my brother and my dad were fishing in a small fishin boat with a tiny motor on it..there was alot of debris floating cuz the water came up so fast and they were cruising along slow and came upon what they thought was a log floating......they bumped it and found out it was not a log but a ton of rattlers that were all stuck and wound together just floating along.....really pissed the snakes off and they were all around the boat and my brother freaked and was standing up rocking the boat about ready to dump them both...my dad hit him with an oar to settle him down but he NEVER ever forgot those snakes...to this day I remember that story when I see something floatin...... eek!

My wife was towing the boat to the lake years ago and going into a turn she ran over a large rattler that was laying in the middle of the road..She panicked, raised her feet up on the drivers seat & let go of the steering wheel..Almost went over the cliff..She didn't want to drive anymore...

Her454
06-26-2003, 11:25 AM
LOL, I can relate to her fear.......I just know those damn things can jump right up and get under the car somehow......Im lifting my truck another 6 inches.......... wink

06-26-2003, 12:41 PM
Traci....In the photo's above it looks like Rat Attack & a few other Hydros & Flats are there...Can you run them there or do they use mufflers, or do they get towed there.....

Her454
06-26-2003, 12:53 PM
"Towed" is not in the MLHB dictionary. wink Just kidding, there were two Hydros and a flat that got a tow out there last year for the pic, but most had mufflers for that day....they are VERY strict on the muffler thing, and you can thank Mr Buesse for that. :D

Sangster
06-26-2003, 12:56 PM

Her454

They are pretty mellow as long as you have the mufflers in and your not making a nuisance out of yourself.
One thing I do want to mention, New Hogan Marina went Bankrupt and the building has been auctioned off. There are NO services on the lake at all now until the new Marina opens.

Just for the record.....the nasty tempered one that lit her husbands boat on fire you've heard me reference......ran it across CFW more than a few times while I was getting ice at the store and there was no water getting through....Bassett valve was clogged I guess and I came back to red hot headers....... burningm
AND btw, the boat runs strong....just ask T-Bag.... :D

I think that all of those jets, outboards,IOs,wakeboard boats, and lake-lice intiminated you a little. At least bringing your boat wasn't a total waste. Wanted to let everyone know that the Cliff Run may be cancelled due to low water in the canyon.
Was out there yesterday and the water has dropped significantly and its dangerous, not to mention chaotic out there with alot of boats tied up and a narrow passage. Im checking with the Corp Of Engineers on the anticipated lake level for the first of Aug so I'll keep you updated.

Sorry Sangster, cant move it to Putah Creek.... :D
Cliff Run is on and we are going to have a BBQ on the island on Sat afternoon/evening. The island is right across from the Marina in the boat in camp sites. Look for the Large Purple EZ-up or the MotherLode Pontoon Boat. If you want to BBQ, just bring something we can hang in the Barrel or a side dish.....
See ya there!
