O.K. Guy's (& Gals),
Took these pic's this morning.
Wow this thing is light. I can lift the hull off the trailer. I was told it was a 425lb hull. I'm hoping it's that.

Talked to tunnel vision earlier. Were going to add some Nytex into the hull. The hull is light, but I have not found any structural cracks or delam. The only crack's in the hull are in the center around the prop. strut & shaft through hull.
Looking forward to making good use of the planer. I am going to stock up on the Bud & try to get a little help when it comes to re-covering the floor. :D :D

Looks like you're getting with it Morg. The hull should weigh in at around 440 after we made a small repair on the left side just in front of the toe board. That deck is thin, isn't it? :D
Having fun taking all of the foam out? Thank the APBA for that. At one time they were going to make everyone have foam. Who knew they would do a 180?

SS126,
Yeah the foam is a load of fun.
Did you add the foam on the sides only & the foam under the deck factory?

SS126, Deos your new boat have the balsa on the forward chines? Not sure I follow you?I saw on Billy B's bezer that balsa was fiberglassed into the sides of the bow. It started a couple of inches aft of the kick board & went forward. I am planning on adding to the boat. I was just wondering if this was a standard deal.

That's what I thought you meant but the Crispy Creme sugar high is wearing off fast. eek!
Yeah, it has them. Steele called them "blast panels." I'll take a pic and post it.

I have a 427 I am going to put in it. Haven't torn the 427 down since I bought it. It was built as a SS motor. It pushed a bezer to around 110 mph, before it was replaced by a K motor. Should do the job nicely.

Here's the panel pics Morg. Sorry about the quality - I had to wash the pics out like that so you could see them better.

The right-side panel is smaller than the left side:

There are also two panels behind the kickboard but I wasn't nearly energetic enough to get a shot of those. :D

We have another boat at the shop that is in the middle of being rigged. I can take a look and give you some measurements.
