I am looking into the DCB Mach22 with twin 280's or 300's
I run the parker strip 99% of the time. Once is a while we do a Havasu run.
Any owners of the 22? How are they in the rough stuff? Reliability? Drivability?
I own a Stiletto24 now w/ a merc 502. I really like the look of the DCB Mach22.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Not big enough for Parker on weekends. Definately the funnest boat I've owned. Great for the south end of the river or Parker during the week. DCB 26 w/twins is a great boat for Parker.

Don't know about Parker. Definately a super fast and fun boat. It will be a huge change from what you're riding in now. You will get wet in the rough stuff but no problem getting through it. Family boat? Not so much. Fun boat? You bet!

How are these to drive w/ twins. Verses a single?
Sounds like on a big weekend I woud be getting a bit beat up?
Still do even in the Stiletto, That is unless i just go over the top of it..
Still get a few of those teeth jaring landings at times though.
How about the stability of the boat? does it like to run loose and aired out or tucked in? Any bow steering?

Best bag for the buck boat I feel. Great rough water boat for a 22 just takes some seat time to master. Put it this way you will get wet in most 22s out there on the big weekend. Best advise would be take it slow before you try and hange it out in the rough. Feel free to call me if you want some numbers on used ones. Thanks Drew @ Boatmasters 925-828-5775

I love the DCB22s. They are super slick looking.
If you are concerned about rough water handling like I was you may want to check out the Talon 22 or the Trick. I ordered a Trick and it is an amazingly built boat (on par with any of the top west coast boats). It is based off of the Skater bottom and will handle rough water as well or better than your current boat. As everyone has told me, they love 1-3 foot chop.
Good luck
