Barons are great boats the only thing if you turn left at speed their is to much air trapped. they dont turn very good

That is VERY VERY cheap! It should be going for at least twice that price.

Hi Gang,
I am new to these boards. I just commited to purchase Gary's Barron. He seems to have it set up right and it should be a great boat. Gary is a nice guy, we had a long chat. He tells me it is Circlejerk's old boat. I wonder if Circlejerk has any pics of it from back in his racing days with it. I will be picking brains looking for help to get it finished. I now have that and a 73 Hondo flat to finish.
Looking forward to meeting many of you soon, Keith

Thanks for the Congrats. We are making space in the barn for the new toy.
Yes, the rigging has much been improved. With this all new set-up, I will be looking to have someone with expierence to help me tune things and help keep the motor side up. It now has a 7-1/2 degree propshaft and strut. Running the driveshaft off the front of the engine is new to me. I will be asking alot of stupid questions for sure. Like, how is this shaft attached? I have a BBC 402 in the machine shop right now for the Hondo. Actually, it came out of my 68 Wickens, but it will go in the Hondo for a while. Wonder what would be best for the Barron? Something in the 502 pluss range, I suspect. But, which bore and crank will be the fun question.
Have fun and be safe. See some of you at the Bass Lake show Saturday.
