I love those CVX's, I have never seen one in person but the hull design is classic. They look cool but also seem very practical. Yours is also the first I have seen set up with that cooling system. I have read about it but never seen it. Great boat, hope all goes well and you are on the water soon - my time estimates are often overly optimistic, but it looks like you are in great shape.

Your CVX20 is looking good man. Be sure to post plenty of on water pics. I just got home from the lake an hour ago we rode my buddies CV19 jet all day. Had a blast and turned some heads in his old school Carlson. Wish my CVX20 was that close to complete. Nice work I'm sure it will be turning heads and you will love it when it's all done:) Check out the mess I have on my hands.

Why do you have a water pump on a jet boat?

To pump the water.
My boat was set up the same way. Berkeley logs, berkeley t-stat housing. I never could figure out why they did it either, took it off.

Cant say i have a legitimate reason for ya. our engine builder put it on, and we left it on. not a big deal...if it gives us problems, it'll get pulled off quick. but its there and not hurting anything....so..why mess with it
