The last time I went to Blythe we sat in the water with SWARMS of flies annoying the hell out of us. Is that still an issue out there, or did I pick a bad weekend? Or, I guess closing my legs would have helped too

Blythe is the most kick back and relaxing part of the River! I don't hang at Goose too often cuz the water quality in there can get pretty nasty but when the water is way up it's nice!
We usually hang the boats off a sand bar or stick 'em on one of the MILLION sandy beaches down there!
I'll be there later this year for sure!

Sheryl Crow told me Im only suppose to use 2 squares of toliet paper in order to save the planet. Im doing my part, damn it. Sure my ass is stinky and my fingernails are disgusting.....But having a baboon-ass is a teeny inconvenience considering that I alone can stop global warming.
Come folks, make stink-ass fashionable and do your part. Al Gore and other tree-hunging filthy Liberals are counting on you

Didnt have a fly issue. On the other side of the cove heard some people complaining about some bees.
We like that part of the river since as stated is really quiet and laid back. We will be heading back in a few weeks.

If the flow from parker is less than 11000 the water will be to low, if you have a i/o or fixed outboard don't launch. See web site for flow next week.

It looks like we might have to leave the white trash sandbar and come down to the flats in three weeks. You know it a little tricky going down river just before the 10 fwy.:D :D :D :D :D

Looks like was a nice turnout on that side of Goose. We stayed on the right side.

I remember that guy and that boat. Spoke with him last Labor Day for awhile. Sorry to see you had to tow him back to camp. Hopefully he gets it running before the next trip.

Hey Rich, here is a couple more from the same place..
I remember seeing these guys/gals. they were across and over to the right from where Rich (ritcheyrch) and I were hanging out for the day. there were lots of people there....more than i ever remember in the past. cant wait to go back in a few weeks. we even have our reservations set for Labor Day. luckily Rich and I know the guy who owns the hotel we stay in otherwise would be hard to get full reservations due to dove hunting season opening that same weekend.
