Site Six is on the islandt at the extreme end where the old airport was . The entrance is across from the old control tower . Great place for great fun .Just bring a chair and a couple cold ones and let the fun begin . It truly is to hard to discribe what goes on

Site 6 is a free launch ramp on the island. The military used it along time ago. And I think it is where McCulloch started testing his outboard motors.

Hard to explain exactly. Got to be there to feel the experience. Very entertaining at times.

It is not Site 6 Only. I was launching at the Nautical and this guy with jacked up bling truck had no clue how to launch his boat. The boat name should have been named Clueless!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure he could ever get back on the trailer!!!!!!!

We were there for 10 hours 2pm-12am and with a line of trucks still for another hours worth on sat. night.....................i don't take any pics cause im laughing too much and the pics would be blurry anyways.
We went fri-sat-sun nights, with the usual drive down and motor running all the way up the ramp, the sad thing is, we the crowd are yelling at him "your drive is down" and he thinks we are cheering him on cause he got outta there without incident !! oops :D with hundreds of people yelling i guess it would sound like a BIG cheer :D
Lots of action for sure, it has been a h/b get together as of late.
When people launch in the morning with nobody around and come back in in the evening, you should she the looks on people's faces and they say "what the f--- is this ?"....................we normally say "we are waiting for the casino ferry boat" they say "ooohhh !!, we thought you came down to watch the idiots" then we sit back and let them figure out why we are really there, at this time they are pissed caused they only have a 2 wheel drive truck and make John Force look silly with killer burn outs........................now they really know what time it is !! :D
Before some of you get all up in my grill !!................let me just say, we do help many people get out, even if it means hooking my Arctic Cat up for a little tug up the ramp :D
If you come in cocky and drunk ? you won't get much sympathy or help from the crowd, your on your own pal !! :D

So is it Crazy Horse Campgrounds area? Is it even called that still?
I haven't been on the Island for a very long time. The shift went from Parker to Havasu back to Parker, over the course of many years, and now we have been at Willow Valley for several years.

Hung out there for a while on Saturday for the first time, took two of my buddies and they though it was a riot. Saw so many people out there that had no clue, even got to see a guy drive all the way up with his drive down. It was an aluminum prop, so it should be easy to bend back.:D

Went there for a bit on Sunday evening. It was nice to see the huge "gayliner" finally make it onto his jetski trailer without rolling over sideways.

I just loved the "Pudo Pinche Raider Nation" boat taken 20 mins to trailer his boat. Just like the Raiders, they will never get it right.:D
