In technical terms, you got the error message because an oopsie occurred on some server some where :)
"Root" is an administrator (aka superuser) account on many types of Unix systems.
"Squid" is a Unix application that "handles proxy caching for Internet objects" (according to Unix Review).
I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. :D
