I was going to throw 60K out, but never thought I'd see 90K. I think the show price was 85 this year.

Ya I agree 55-60k, would be more realistic, but it is still one hell of a pretty boat, i really like the lines of those ultra's. Anyone have one forsale with a realistic price.

The show price was for a 27 Shadow with only a 496 Mag in it. The base price for a 27 Shadow with an HO is higher than $90k. I do think this is priced a bit too high, but worth more than $60k. This boat if I am not mistaken was also not rigged by Ultra. This was just a bare hull sold so that Hot Boat could do a project build. The boat was built for Kevin Spaise.

While this is not my boat and I'm not exactly sure what it is worth I can tell you its got to be worth a hell of a lot more than 60K. This boat has the best of everything in it. I doubt for 90K in a new one they are going to set it up with all the Dana Billet hardware, a Larry Peto 555, XZ Drive, Hydraulic Steering, Rediculous stereo etc etc. I just wish I had half of the stuff on my boat this one has. I would kill for the Trim tabs, Hydraulic Steering and Headers alone, Probably well over 10K in those 3 items.
I learned a lot when I bought my boat. It's basically a stock Sunsation and I have a grocery list of stuff I want to buy for it. I could spend 15K to 20K in the blink of an eye buying stuff this Ultra already has on it.
On another note I'm sure he has a some wiggle room somewhere in that price for a serious buyer.

Hey Guys..this is actually my boat and i finally was able to log in and be able to join the conversations..i am wanting to get a bigger twin engine cat. I have loved this boat and have no complaints at all. It was built heavier than the current Ultra Shadows and i can say that it takes the chop like nothing. Essentially, this boat has new of everything on it and no expenses were spared. For those of you who were thinking $55-60k...come on guys..why would you try to ruin a thread with what you know is not even close to market value? Anyways, if anyone is interested..you can IM me and i can make this boat a great deal for you. If you have any particular questions, please dont hesitate to ask....thanks.

You had the 3rd Gen. bottom. The first and second were mounted below and the 3rd were mounted in the rub-rail due to the change in the bottom. This boat has the 1st Gen. bottom.
Bump for a fellow Ultra. I have seen this boat in Havasu as well and it sounds and looks great. Good luck with the sale.

I hope you did not take it as I was smacking on the boat it is beautiful, but I sold my 02 Howard with the TCM 900 and big drive etc. for 70k and it was a true 100+ boat and so on I just thought that seemed a bit high. it is a great looking boat however.

No worries...i am just going off of what i have put into the boat in the last year...spent over $5k on a complete new interior, 3 weeks ago i spent another $5k on freshing up the motor by Larry Peto, upgraded last year to a XZ drive, and did a complete new stereo system and rerig of the boat..yes its a 2001, but essentially everything on and in the boat in only 1-2 years old. I am open to any reasonable offers..have a good week everyone.

To find a serious buyer, you must be a serious seller. I really feel this boat is over priced. Just look at some of the boats that have sold on the forums that are in comparison to this one. (Reaper, Shadow,...)They got no where near 90k. Its a very nice boat, but it will never see 90k IMO.
Heres a good deal if hes already in a position to buy a new one.

had a reserve...see below from ebay seller.
I APOLOGIZE, BUT I JUST REALIZED THAT I SUBMITTED THIS ITEM WITH NO RESERVE. THAT WAS A MISTAKE AND SINCE THERE ARE BIDS ON THIS ITEM I CANNOT ADD A RESERVE PRICE. SINCE THAT HAPPENED I WILL DISCLOSE THAT MY RESERVE ON THIS ITEM IS $80K. I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVIENENCE THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED BUT THE BOAT WILL NOT BE SOLD FOR LESS THAN $80K. THIS BOAT WOULD COST $120K TO BUILD FROM ULTRA. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. THIS IS THE SAME BOAT THAT JESSE JAMES FROM WEST COAST CHOPPERS HAD BUILT FOR HIMSELF.. FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS AT SCOTT@ITSPARTS.COM

Hey guys. It is true. I listed the boat accidentally with no reserve. It did not sell and i still have it for sale. My price is down to $75k. I know this is a very fair price. Its the lowest i will go as i am not desperate to sell.

Can we turn this thread into another BnB type of thread (for those of you who know what I'm talking about) and have some fun? As it seems to have the right elements to mature into one...
Where is that BnB when we need him?
