After losing a piston last Memorial Day and getting the motor out of the machine shop, I thrashed last week to get it back together. Here are some pics.

Ran well. 496 solid roller motor. Nice and fat, so not to hurt anything. This is my brothers boat which originally came from Nelson.
Nice to have it back on the water, now where did I put that blue bottle...

I ran that so I can look at the pressure while under way. Its just a couple of AN pipe fittings with one 90* fitting. Got tired of not being able to see fuel pressure. Could probally do it cheaper out of brass from the hardware store if you don't care about the looks.

did you tap the existin AN fitting with 1/8 NPT or somethin then made adapters or somethin so guage facing right way? Thats exactly the set up I need so i can see if im droppin pressure at WOT then ill know if i need to upgrade fuel system or not.

Why dont you just drill a hole in your fitting and run a tap in it?
Be sure to clean it out really well before you re-install it.
