I may be getting a 2001 Sea Doo Islandia with an '01 2 stroke 240 HP Mercury. Is there anything I can do (<$1000) to squeeze a few more ponies out of it? Since it's inside the engine bay there's plenty of room for bolt ons.
Thanks,
James

Not even worth the hassle. Just enjoy it.

That's what I figured. Probably high cost for little gain.
Thanks,
James

Are there specific kits for these engines or just something that's put together yourself? Any links to articles, advertisments, message board posts regarding this?
Thanks,
James

Call Chuck Goodman @ http://hydrodynamics-usa.com/index.php
He's the BEST for OB NOS... our you can ask TD... HE has one of CHUCK's BAD BOY systems...

The best thing about running a modified outboard is that you will become an expert in outboard repair.
That nitrous system will help you brush up on your piston changing skills.
Modified is definitely the way to go.
