My buddy Rob called and asked me to use the trailer on Monday. He said he'll pick it up Tuesday, because he doesn't want it to get stolen. I asked him why he think's it'll get ripped, and he said some @$$#*!& climbed his fence and stole the Kreepy Krauly and hose from the bottom of his pool Sunday night! What balls!
Has anyone else had (or heard) of anything as goofy as this?

They seem to steal anything not bolted down these days. Think we should be able to cut off their focking hands when caught

Talking to Cathy at the Channel Island Market on Monday and she told me that during the weekend when they were busy and had their backs turned someone stole all of the money out of the tip jar on the counter. She said that the kids that work for her were pretty bummed.
Now that is pretty low.

Yeah, someone stole the Stainless BBQ from my friends outdoor kitchen set-up...while he was napping on the couch. Over the back fence and even took the time to properly undo the gas lines.

Night before last my buddy and family sleeping in their house. Someone used a blow torch to cut a hole in their glass patio door. Used a screw driver to open. They grabbed his wallet, wifes purse. Opened the RV gate where he parks his truck hooked up the trailer with the quads and drove off with all his shiat.
There are some krazy mofos out there

In my neighborhood most of the shinanagins (sp?) are done by local kids. I got tired of it right after I left Ft Irwin and decided to take matters into my own hands. I set tripwire throughout my property using T.O.W. missle wire (very fine duable wire) to grenade simulators. I developed such a reputation that a few years ago I left for 1 week and forgot to lock the garage door. My neighbor noticed it and approached me as soon as I returned. I asked her if she had locked it for me and her reply was "HELL NO ! ! I thought maybe you did it on purpose and had it boobytrapped". Needless to say I still have a reputation and no one f*ck's with my sh*t. :D

We have a fairly wide spread Meth problem here in my town. Think its because we are an agriculture based area; chemicals for making the crap widely available in most farms. Had a small wind storm and these scrapper maggot's stole power lines when the power went out.
Since I have a commercial orchard get these twerps in my yard all the time. Have portable alum. irrigation pipe that I've caught people cutting them to take to the scrap yard. I've started going after people for trespassing cause I'm sick of catching people driving around my property looking for chit to steal. One I almost let off after calling Police and felt guilty for successfully having them charged and convicted, turned out to be the nephew of a neighbor and a guy who we use to drive truck for us..Hence why I felt guilty for forcing charges for simple trespassing.
The Uncle collects old model train sets and a few weeks ago offered to give him a old copy of Microsoft Train Sim. He came to my house and my dogs went nuts. He made a joke about them not going nuts when my nephew tried stealing your tractor batteries. I'm super peeved because someone did try and steal tractor batteries, did'nt succeed, they however made a mess trying to pry open the engine cover and grills on them. Thing that ticks me off that happened almost a month earlier before I caught his nephew trespassing!!!!! I did'nt catch him trying to steal anything in fact...... This guy's family was peeved at me for getting this kid in trouble with the law.........
I'm really starting to hate people cause of this BS and have zero compassion for lazy a$$ druggy welfare bum white trash......... F em all... Either jail em or let extra potent drugs hit the streets and thin the herd.............

I agree ! ! I'm the most humble person someone can meet and put up with alot of sh*t but once that button is finally pushed that is when I take action. I've done a few things in the past that I am not particularly not proud of but I would do it again. Just knowing that focker is waking up every morning of his life looking into the mirror and knowing that he focked with the wrong person is pricless.

Nothing worse than a thief, it seems with the escalating costs nowadays it is becoming more common for thieves to steal even the smallest things and they are getting BALLSY too.
One of my buddies has a go-cart track and someone backed a truck up in broad daylight, unbolted the aluminum bleachers, loaded them up in one piece (hanging off the side of the truck) and drove straight to the scrap yard. One of the people living close by seen them do it and followed them to the scrap yard.
By the time the cops came the bleachers were gone and the scrap yard claims to never seen them:rolleyes:
In the words of Marge Simpson~~~~~Killem all and let God sort them out~~~~~~

Seattle's king five news borrowed steal man hole covers, guard rails and other scrap from the Department of Transportation in WA. Almost all the scrap yards bought the stuff........
One of the things I've noticed in my area, as a small town you notice the same faces, etc... Have to drive through the "bad" area of town. Second thing I've noticed is alot of garage sales almost every day at certain places. I'm wondering with Cops checking pawn shops for stolen chit, these low lifes have turned to holding garage sales to sell these wacky stolen items?

I think if they would make stricter punishments for the business that profit from theft it would certinaly help matters:idea:

To date the craziest thefts I have seen take place are in car washes being built. In our contracts with customers we state clearly that the facility must be SECURED and we are not liable for anything that comes up missing. It seems to be clockwork anymore, an electrician or plumber stays late, forgets to lock a door and the next morning we come on to the jobsite to find sh*t stolen.
Two times now I have walked into an equipment room to find it stripped of every piece of copper piping installed. I'm not talking about a few pieces of copper either, we are talking about enough copper to build a fawkin submarine. In one of the washes thieves made away with over $50,000 in copper pipe!
My neighbor is a phone technician for Qwest. He told me he's seens sites where thieves have made off with several trunks of phone lines. Apparently there are a lot of recycle centers that will buy this stuff. Last week someone went into one of their yards and stole a massive back ho. He said they would have had a semi and faltbed trailer pull it off

I was on a job years ago in the San Franciso area.
We were supposed to start on a foundation layout but the grade was all off.
Someone stole the dirt on the lot, 2', even grade over the lot.
Fill was at a premium in the area.:D

Ok, I think the Kreepy Krauly heist got topped.. I told the story at work, and one of the guys is a soccer coach in Upland. I guess within the past few weeks some speed monsters cut into the power lines in all the underground vaults at the soccer fields, hooked them to a pickup, then ripped the copper wiring from all the stadium lights (10 fields). Gonna cost over 100k to fix.
If normal folks aren't careful, I fear assclowns like these are the future downfall of civilized living in the U.S.

my dad parked his new boat at Edgewater 2 years ago. they stole all the audio equipment out of it. changer subs amps deck even the 6 1/2. i think the worst thing to do is have it covered. it makes it easier for them to go unnoticed. we now park the boats uncovered have alarm sensors with proximity sensors, radar, and backup battery and loud ass sirens. if you stand next to it, it will make blip noises. just letting you know it is armed. you look over it is going off. it is also why we use the riverside casino and tip the security well. Edgewater cared less about our problem

My shop here in Fontana is right next to a recycling/scrap yard. I see the tweakers rolling in and out of there all day long with any kind of scrap metal they can get their hands on. I know a good portion of it is stolen. I've also seen the Po Po do quite a few sting operations there arresting the scum bags. Yesterday I saw some tweaker looking dudes roll in with a pick up with half of a newer car in it. Now tell me that wasn't some stolen car they just got done cutting up.
The dumbest thefts I've seen a lot of lately in the trucking industry is these fockers are stealing the 7-way wire looms out of semi-truck trailers for the copper. I mean how much copper could you possibly get out of 7 strands of 14ga. wire roughly 50ft. long ea. Shit it must take them a couple hours at least to strip them after they steal them. I've had the assholes hit my yard more than once and steal them from my customers trailers.
The other theft that is a huge problem out here for the trucking companies is tire theft. The theives break into yards in the middle of the night and steal the outside tires off the trailers. They leave the wheels mounted to the hub. They just pop the valve core out of the tire, flatten it, and then dismount the tire. I've had customers tell me they have gotten hit for as many as 70 or 80 tires in 1 weekend. Thats a lot of money considering each tire cost them roughly $220 - $250 each.

They steal everything. They spend hours cleaning a site out plus cleaning all the jackets off the wire (into a big pile). Clean copper makes bigger scrap values. The last guy went after a guy with bolt cutters... Great.

We had an old Carrera parked at London Bridge resort covered and they stole everything out of it. Just lifted the cover, and proceeded to take. They found an empty coke can and a cig in there too. So the cops said that is actually one of the worst things to do since they now have cover and can use flashlights without anyone knowing (including you, the owner). We to laughlin last year one time with the boat. After leaving the bar I went to the security guy driving around the parking lot. Asked what time he go off, he said 9am. I told him we are leaving at 8 am to launch and if the boat hasnt been touched I will give him $50. Next morning everything was gone! (just kidding, everything was good) :D
