Anyone call you a whistle dick for taking train pics? I've seen some cool stuff out on the road, but there is a stigma attached to taking pics. I don't want pics of trains (except maybe the oddities I might see), I just want to snap pics of the scenery along the way. I got to do the walon loop the other day, what a sight.

Well I figure I've been doing this for 10 years I can snap a couple pics of my train without feeling like a foamer. 99 % of the pics I take at work are of scenery... Or train wrecks. Those are always fun (unless crew members got hurt).

My company vehicle is pretty much anything that is available on here... www.harley-davidson.com. ;)
When I sold medical device, I had a few Dodge Intrepids, Volvo S60s, and I won a 6cyl BMW X5 for a yr as well.

That was my commuter vehicle until I early retired in March.
Perfer the GM locomotives over the GE,, less diesel fumes.

Train #1 does not come down Cajon. That would be Train #3 & 4, the Southwest Cheif.
Yeah most of us like the GMs better than the GEs. Load faster, respond faster, less glitchy.
