To set this up, I'll remind (or tell you) that the Southern half of the Mississippi river has become the breeding ground for alien "Flying Carp". Some how they came in/on a boat traveling from abroad or someone let them loose in the river and they exploded from there. In any case, they have created quite a hazzard on the water in the last couple of years.
This is the first I've seen of an emerging sport.

Note the driver is wearing a mask. For good reason. No shortage of people have been seriouly hurt driving down the river and suddeenly having a 20lb carp take your head off.
so much for boring day on the river.

Real rednecks would have used shot guns. I'm sure it's been done.

I’d be all over that. Just put the other boat about 100 feet away. In one shot the other boat was 15 feet in the background and the dude shot. :eek: :D

that would just freak me out to have all those fish jumpin in the boat and such! it was funny towards the end when they just went nuts and all the people were screaming.:sqeyes:

Imagine having these thing in Lake Havasu.
Clipping along at 100 and a 20lber pops you in the gourd.
The result wouldn't be good. They can keep these things down South!

Lmao....that video's funny as hell. I don't care how redneck it is, I'd be all over it. That makes a real sport out of fishing. Way better than throwing out a hook and waiting for something to bite it. I'm surprised one of those guys didn't get knocked out of the boat. I was lmao at the driver bending over to get one out and getting smacked in the face by another. Crazy shiat. :D :D
As for us getting them out here....I can just see the inspection stations for flying carp, now.
