I'll be there from Thursday night thru Monday morning in the Kodiak and 40' 5th wheel. 50 acre camp ground across the road is all that was left. Have good seats all 3 days though.
Should be a blast......

I'll be hanging out in the terrace above Turn 3a courtesy of one of the Big 4 automakers, for whom I work. :)

Tom, that looks to be located inside the track between Turn 2 and the Carousel, just west of the dragstrip. You sure they have beer in the "family" section? ;)

Better watch out.
There's a Monster coming to Sears Point this weekend.

Old Sears point sucks, they should run at Laguna Seca, would be way more exciting to watch !!!!!!!!
If you haven't been to Sears Point(I hate calling it "Infineon" :) ) in the last 5 years or so, you would be amazed at the changes. Nothing like it was back in the 70's when I started attending races there.
I would love to see the Nascar guys try to negotiate the Corkscrew at Laguna, side-by-side. :) They would probably have to revert to the "old" configuration and skip the inner loop(or whatever they call it) that was added in the 90's(?).

Whenever I'm put on a waiting list at a nice resteraunt I always leave the name "Donner".
I crack up when they call out:
"Donner, Party of four..."

Funny BC....:D
Point of interest, that there Donner Histerical monument at the east end of the lake, in Truckee, the one they charge ya to go in and oohh and aahh over?
That ain't where the peoples where. They actually found what they believe to be the campsite a couple of years back, and it is about 5 miles north of the histerical site. They're trying to keep it quiet while the PhD's dig around out there.
And, back in the day, the best place to eat in Truckee was an old mom and pop joint, the Donner Lake kitchen... People served, but no people on the menu...
