When and where is the Red Rock event and who's Going???????
I need to start planning :)

Red Rock is on the Parker Strip right next to Fox's floating dock bar.
During the week the water will be nice. On the weekend you'll see why I got a cruiser instead of a flat.
But hey, Parker rocks and you must come out.

When: September 14, 2003 - September 22, 2003
Pot luck, free dinner, drawings for cash prizes, t-shirts, and more. This event has been known to sell out the entire Redrock campground a year in advance, so it's best to plan as soon as possible. Overflow for this event is at Fox's, which is right next door.

Smalls, it sounds like you have never been to Parker before.
You'll do ok with your smalls tank. Just no dam to dam runs for you.
Red Rock is right next to Fox's and right between Sundance and the Roadrunner. I don't think you'll be parking at sundance but if you get an inside spot at the roadrunner it's ok to park a flat there.

Smalls I know we missed it, I wanted to go so bad. I sat at home thinking about it the whole time. You can ask Geoff why we didn't make it. Actually I should ask Geoff why we didn't make it because I was packed and sitting on the porch like a little kid waiting for the school bus. Had a brown bag lunch and everything waiting for that motor home to pull up. Well by about sunday mid day, my sack lunch was gone and I figured it was time to go in because wilderthanU got to wild somewhere else and passed out drunk never to make it. LOL you like that Geoff

last year at red rock, they took our names and asked if we will be here this year. i have heard nothing so i called today. had to leave messg. has any one talked to them. at red rock. dont want to show up from washington and not have spot.

has anyone heard anything. THANKS AL I have talked to the new owners and if you put your name down before you left, you're spot is reserved but you have to send in you're deposit. They should have called you in March when they officially took over??, they called us!.I would keep calling until you can talk to someone!.. :confused:
