I wanted to know what I might expect if I redo the entire interior of my boat. I want to replace all of the wood and updating the look, which means add some cup holders. My guess is it will be in the $6000-10,000 range. Also who would you recommend for a job like this? I have had Designer Marine do work for me before and I have like what they do, but other people to call would be nice as well.

I'm thinking more like 3-4 grand. How big is the boat???

21 ft. The $3-4 range would be great.

You're definetely within that budget. And that's on the HIGH end. PM Phat Daddy, he got his hooked up for a good price. He has a 25 Daytona. Or PM atomickitn. He may be able to send you in the right direction with the shop that does Dana's stuff.

You may want to check with some of the builders as I hear they will do that type of work as well.

Solano does nice work down at Land & Sea in Santa Ana (Harbor & Warner).
Whoever you choose, move quickly because as soon as the LA Show gets close everyone gets busy and the prices go way up.
When did Designer do your seats?

Do have and address or phone number for them? Could not find them via an internet search. Thanks.

Land and Sea is close. Designer did some seat repair and redid cusions the last two seasons. They were the original company that did my interior. I am not sure why I thought it was going to be so much. I like the prices I am seeing. With the extra $$$ I could put in some Dana Sissor Lifts. :rollside:

Didn't know about L&S closing... That's too bad - they did great work. I wonder if they have started back up elsewhere?
Designer was recently sold but I hear the same staff are still there. They do nice work. Now is the time to get your estimates!!!
I see you have a Comm Conquest. We built a ton of seats for them/Ed Ferro when I worked there. I probably delivered your interior to Commander in Perris.

Designer wasn't sold. I just picked up my 21 Eliminator from them a few weeks ago. Same owner, I think his name is Kurt. He sold the stainless railing fabrication part of the business. He is rarely there, everyone always deals with the Manager, Ross, great guy and easy to work with. This was the 3rd boat I have had them do. IMO their work is the best in the industry. I think the standard price for a full interior is $3500 to $4000. I am sure there are other places that can do it for cheaper, but this is definitely a case where you get what you pay for. The # is 951-371-7000.

It's been sold. Kurt no longer owns it. Ross and the rest of the staff are still there, with the same company name. Kurt's in the towing biz now...

do you have some pics of the work? I leave my boat in Needles and much rather have work done out there so I don't have to tow the boat home.

Thanks Bob.
My Schiada is Kurt's old personal boat. They were rigging and finishing the interior in it when I hired on out of high school. He just left my house today after coming over to see my twin girls. He sold DMI as I had mentioned, a while back...
The interior in my boat is still perfect, albeit 18 years since we built the seats... I mean perfect. You're right, they are that good. We pulled the cover off it in the garage today and had a nice trip down memory lane. Talk about a time warp... I love my 40' garage!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

That style of seat is what I have now. I love the Shiada's. My neighbor has a 24 with a sick engine.

i like the hatch on your hallett
my dad has a 89 vector, his hatch is fiberglass with 2 vinyl pads and a ss scoop. yours is much cleaner looking.
i had the round style seats, i went with the boxy ones when i had it redone, very secure. and good support. i love them, best money i spent yet.
