Finally starting a stereo after saying I would every year...
Starting of with:
Alpine IDA-X001
PDX 1.1000 powering (2) JLW6 12"s.
PDX 4.150 for the mids/highs but am not sure on what yet??
I need to know what mids/highs you guys recommend???
Also I was talked out of doing a single JLW7 13" and a JL1.1000 amp. Which do you think is the better setup for the subs...

I love Diamond Audio mids. I also love CDT Audio, which is what I'm using now, the old Clif Designs guys before Clif was junk.
As for the subs, I'd go with 2 12W6s and two JL 500.1 or 1000.1, if JL is your preference.
I ended up getting the alpine pdx1.1000 to power the two sub. How do you think that will work.. I can change it for the JL no problem

Anybody else think the two 12w6's with 500w a peice are gonna be a little over kill for 4 6.5's?:):D
Good choice on the equipment.I haven't had a chance to play with the PDX amps but they are supposed to be the shit.

I would think that he is going to run eight speakers off the four channel amp.

I thought you were a Kicker fan being that you worked at one time with Adam.. ;)
I'll have to stop next door on my next visit to Murrieta and say hi.
Oh and my opinion for a boat is anything with metal dome tweeters. They can play at a higher frequency than soft domes. As far as brands everybody has their favorite.
