There is a guy with an x-80 with twin supercharged 350's on wakeworld.com. It's for sale I think.

I remember a photo in Hot Boat about 10 years ago of a 90's Sanger tournament boat gutted with two seats and a 8-71 blown small block in the center running direct drive. I think is was in the readers rides section. It looked like a huge waste of money.

I can only imagine it is worth it if you are ski racing. In a tournament boat, it would be a total waste.

I know that boat! The guy use to live next door to a friend of mine. He's a car painter, if I remember right. I think the whole idea was to do something over the top, like some people do with custom cars.
I don't know any details but the boat was in a bad wreck, not sure if it got put back together, or not.

MasterCraft put a supercharger on their 2003 ProStar 197 35th Anniversary Boats. Here are a few pics. There were only 35 Anniversery boats made and I think less then 10 of them were supercharged.
