Need to re-seal the intake....

It looks like it's about time to reseal the intake on the Ultra. Any recommendations on tackling this project? What is the recommended sealant? Should I reseal the whole thing, or just the section that's shitty?

I'd redo the whole thing. The guys who did my hull work used "Seagoing" putty to seal mine.
Also you have to set the intake in so that it's perfectly flush with the bottom so that the pump will load up correctly. If the intake sticks out any, it will create a turbulence in the water which will cause the pump not to load up correctly (it will suck in some air with the water).
