Awwww! It's a rare motionless chocolate lab puppy! I give the stuffed toys less than 24 hours to live before they are bleeding stuffing everywhere and had the squeakers eaten out of them. Good thing you took that pic when you did. :D Does she have a name yet?

What about Sake (the Japanese alcohol)? I think its a perfect name for a chocolate lab.

I have a trainer coming to the house tomorrow. I did not get much sleep, just a few hours here and there to let her out. At least she knows not to pee in the house. Oh yea, she is already carring flip flops around, she loves shoes.

That's actually a good one as we love sushi and sake.

OMG...that sooo reminds me. About six years ago, I had this really nice coffee table I had made when I worked in the cabinet shop. Just about the perfect height for a teething Chocolate lab puppy to walk right up too. she gnawed all the edges off it one day while I was in the shower. :crossx: All four sides of a 2'x4' table! and she had ripped a big piece of wood completely off and was carrying it around in her mouth, looking at me all proud of herself like, "Check it out dude, I found a big stick!" I would remove that table now if I were you. They're like little beavers. :crossx:

awe, so cute. I like Roxy.
She can play with Zoey when we go camping. Zoey is Kim's 6 month old black lab. She is a sweetheart too. They are little beavers, will chew on anything. :p

You may already know this, but try to feed her Nutro systems' "Large Breed puppy" "controlled growth formula....
will not grow her as fast, so that her hip joints and elbows can keep up, also, not nearly as much cornmeal, which means solid stool and no runs...cornmeal causes the runs....for those of you wanting a Lab, I have GREAT contacts, as evidenced by the pic...we will eventually breed these two, but that is years away....

The litter is due Feb 19th. My wife hates the idea of the pup being put on a plane from Colorado so we might just take a little trip over there in a couple months.
Here's our 6 y/o chocolate. He's gonna have a buddy!

Step up Roxy needs a River Buddy. :p
BTW if anyone needs a life vest for a dog I found this company (PupGear (http://www.doggydocks.com/index_files/Ruffwear.htm)) at the boat show and they have a Puppy Life Vest Exchange Program. My understanding of the program is that you buy a Life Vest today when your dog is a puppy and as the puppy grows and needs a larger size you trade in the vest for a larger one. If there is a price difference then you just pay the difference between the two.
