How many gallons per hour should a fuel filter be capable of flowing for a single carb 800 hp motor?

The guys that run engines on Dynos could best answer that. Rule of thumb I have always used is 500 HP = 1 gallon/minute at sea level. Now if you are making 800 HP and are as efficient as a Nascar Cup Car, they get 4Miles/Gallon. So at 180 MPH, they are going 1 Mile in 20 seconds or 4 Miles or 1 Gallon in 80 seconds or 800 HP = 3/4 gallon = 1 minute or 45 gallons an hour if you have a precision 355 ci small block. Now I know the Cup Cars actually make 4.5 to 5 gallons per mile, but I was rounding down to be safe.

I think it is Hp x .5 lb divided by 6 lb per gallon
800 x .5 divided by 6 = 66.6
