Goofed and posted this in the Blowers section. Any thoughts on the best way to keep the toy from going to the bottom in the event that something out of the ordinary happens? Also, Superdave had posted about the placement of the large Casale case gaskets. One on the back or front, something about the backlash. Could you do that again. I can't find it and want it for my files. Thanks Dave.

If you're using a 3/8" thick mounting plate use a thick and a thin one for the rear case. If your plate is 1/2" just use the thick one. I think this is right. LeE ss13, am I correct?
The backlash is set with the spacers that are on both sides of the gears. Just remember if you cut the front one you need to add to the rear. I have never had to mess with it myself.
Hey, what did you think of those 35's? Pretty sweet hu? The 48's have some nasty nicks on some of the teeth.

Thanks for the post, Superdave. Yes, the 35's were sweet, perfect. There is ice on the lake now, so I'll let you know how they turned out in May. Next gear exchange I'll examine mine more closely.

Bring lots of girls with silicone implants with you and make them hold onto the boat http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif In Autin Powers that "Alota Fagina" Italian Chicks knockers were as good as a coast guard approved life vest. Now you know why all the guys with cool boat have the hottest chicks on their boats.

I had foam put in the sides of my Biesemeyer for that reason and also it strenthens up the sides which can be helpful in a Circle Boat. Try Auto Marine Engineering in Glendora CA. (626) 335-1315 Even if it is not in your area, they can give you an idea on price.
