"Unleashed" in Iraq

Here are a few pictures I took while out here in Iraq. The airfield I was at on this day is one of the nicer ones. It has a paved air strip and helo pads. The rest of the place is sand and dirt everywhere. I just wanted to make sure I got some pictures up of me wearing one of my Unleashed shirts in Iraq. The two bird I'm standing in front of are the CH-58 which is the smaller one and the H-60 BlackHawk which is what I cruise around in. This compound is one of the safer ones because of its location so I didn't have to wear my vest, it makes for a better picture showing off my shirt anyways.

Hey Pixi,
Not sure when I'll be back home. I stay real busy out here flying almost everyday. I was thinking about going home for some R&R this summer but it is such a pain in the butt to leave here. It can take at least 3 days to leave. Need a guarded escort to get from compound to compound till I finally get down to Kuwait where I can fly out. I think I'm just going to try to hold out for as long as possible. Maybe October 2007.

Dang dude those are way cool photos. I just got back from Glamis and its definitly a bonus to my weekend to see those photos. Put a smile on my face for sures! Once again thanks for your service to our country. Hang in there and hopefully we'll be having a cold one together at the river or Glamis soon(Althought I bet your tired of sand).

Worked UH-60's for NASA flight research for about eight years. I'm sure I don't have anywhere near the flight hours in them you have or under your circumstances. I do have to say I feel it's one pretty damn fine copter!! Yeah, a little Chrome would look pretty cool on them. Although I don't think the soldiers would like a bright shining helo comming to extract them and giving off there position. HA! HA! HA! I usually paint a design on the side or on the nose in flat paint though. I see an Unleashed design in the future of one of these birds. :crossx:
