well I have to say Phuggit got me on the boards about 5 years ago.
He would say how much really cool info he could get from people that were coming out to the river for years.

Was one of the first members here. Learned of it through the ***boat mag. It was once a week we would meet at ***boat.net. Wanna say a tuesday at 8 pm. My username was jroos. Also wanna say it was 1996 or it could have been 1997. Can`t remember for sure maybe someone could tell us some history. I wanna say I was like number 13,,,even had to join twice i believe. The site was really cool in the beginning. Now its very big and my pump boat is getting a weedwacker. Man how the times change.

I stumbled across it in mid 1999 just searching around for jet boat stuff. I originally registered in Aug or Sept of 1999 as Cas57, I think it was, or maybe Cas42. For some reason I couldn't get on and reregistered with this name and then had to do the reg thing it all over again in Aug 2001.

I registered and Havasu Hangin' immediately banned me. HH wasn't a moderator back then so I'm not sure how that worked.

I read about ***boat Forums in ***boat Magazine (hmmmm never mind) so I did the sign up thing(well my Son did for me anyways)BUT never logged on,About a year or so went by before I could figure out how to type:eek: before I would dare log on by then I forgot what name I signed up under....Go Figure.:rolleyes: So time to think of a new Name so I went with the name on my Boat so I wouldn't forget this time and here I am:D

My buddy that lurks here told me about it a couple years ago. Then I needed to know what size trailer I needed to rent to get my golf cart home from Havi. Within 30 mins I had 15 replys and 1 guy in Ontario offering me his trailor for free. I've been hooked ever since. ;)

Not sure how the hell I found this board…
In the beginning….shortly after Al Gore invented the net…
***boat was a pay site and wasn’t really functional…not sure they even had a message board, and paid the $25 for 6 months a couple of times.
Back then, Arizona Hot Boats was real popular, and OSO was about the same size.
Visited ***boat again and they had added a message board…but it was dead. Nonetheless, signed up with a very clever screen name – my real name.
Shiat hit the fan at OSO and they switched to a message board which required registration. Signed up over there within a few hours of the board opening – member 194. Shortly thereafter on OSO – it became clear unless you had a 16” penis – you really didn’t fit in (no pun intended).
Again visited ***boat and realized these message board thingies were gonna be around for a while – so I re-registered under name of C-2.
About late 2001, revisited ***boat and wow, some dude named RiverDave was all over the place, along with several of the OP-6 peeps (I believe), and the board was busier than hell. I liked the local/Havasu flavor of it.
Speaking of whom – Glamis and H4215 – I know you guys are lurking out there – stop in and say hi. :)
