OK I've been doing my homework........BUT still can't make up my mind.
So my question is who is running a BBF stroker assembly and where did you get it?
How is it running? Will the budget parts I see out there hold together?

When it comes to parts, you get what you pay for. If you are looking to make some sick power, I would stay away from some of the kits. There are alot of them that are cheap and cannot handle power.
Try and go for Scat, Eagle, etc...

I used Ohio Crank.514 12:1 with H-beam rods,JE pistons,speed-pro rings and clevite H series bearings.1800.00$ Toped it off with a pair of Trick Flow alum. heads and Crower solid roller cam and rockers.Nice potent package.650 -700 HP.

Before you buy any parts, Call Charlie Evans of Evans Racing Engines.
He and his brother Lem are into nothing but Ford Engines, and strictly because they love them. If you have visited the 460 Ford forum (formerly the 385 forum) I'm sure you have seen their posts.
They build nothing but Ford strokers, and ususlly have some good prices on parts or complete stroker kits.

Tell him Ken Foster refered you.
Another good one to talk to might be Paul Kane who goes by LakesOnly here on the boards.....not sure if he deals in kits or not, but he sure is a Ford Guru also!
