it developed a knock and spun some bearings. I honestly don't know quite yet but I don't need a baller's engine.
I am in Glendale Ca.

I want to achieve a running engine:D jk
This motor has live a good life in the previous owners boat, lost oil pressure do to the head on the pick up folling off. This is only a 2 bolt block so nothing fancy needed just a running engine to have as a spare . It did push a 21' crusader jet to 49.9 gps mph when it ran

If it were me, I'd have the crank checked to see if it can be turned. Probably need a new rod that spun the bearing. If the crank is beyond repair, I'd find a used one to replace it. 2 bolt mains, cast crank, stock rods work fine. I've run them for years with no trouble even raced it. The only thing I changed was forged pistons, arp rod bolts and polished the rod beams.
