i am building a bbc 468ci 8/1 comp blower pistons 671 mooneyham blower lee intercooler alum chevy d port heads i will be pushing a 24' daytona imco drive with 136 gears and bravo 4 blade 30 pitch labed prop. i need some help with cam, heads have new roller springs and i have new roller lifters so i would like to run a solid roller cam.

the cam i'm runnin is cheap and does well on small blowers. its a comp cams solid roller blower cam with 652 lift.easy on the valvetrain and has alot of midrange punch.
what rpm range do you cruise and run wot at?

looking to cruise around 3000 rpm and wot 6000 rpm

yep the cam i'm runnin will work good for ya too!let me go get a link.custom grind cams are 400+$$$, my cam was @240-250.

the cam i listed only requires 155lbs of seat pressure and a 450lb rated springs, which realy takes it easy on the rest of the valvetrain and i'm sure my valves will live longer for it:D i set my seat pressure to 170lbs and i'm using 500lb rate springs.

no doubt, if you can afford a custom ground cam, do it, you'll get more outta your motor, but they are pricey!!:(

that's gona put a good load on the motor-----use some really good extreme duty xhaust valves, don't run it lean, and make sure your ignition is good
