Pictures do not show here at work so I cannot see those. 82 is a very early model. Some I have seen have the v-drive at about the dash and the strut way up. Flies the nose big time. Really cuts down on the top speed and stability.
Mine is for sale by the way. :D

http://i16.ebayimg.com/03/i/00/c6/a2/25_1.JPG Blower looks like an OEM GMC 8V-71 with the outside hold down ears. Never seen one of those on anything but a Detroit diesel.

eek! $6,000 + alot of money eek! Well I guess it is all relative.
Probably is if it was a flat or runner. How many thousands of those are available?
Not if you want a v-drive that is not limited to smooth water. They will ride and take rollers like a tunnel boat should. Will not beat your nuts flat. Set up and drive like a flat. Very rare boat.
A Cougar of any type is not a cheap boat.

Come on info - tell us what your next hull is going to be!. I am trying to gather some coin for a new top secret engine project.
Might have to make due with the family Ultra for a while.

A Cougar of any type is not a cheap boat. They ride like a Caddy and very hard to find. If the boat is clean and runs decentit is a good deal. .02

I think he might be a stalker...
At the very least he has a Shania Twain fetish (not that that's so bad I guess).
