I get there early and have a great time. By 9am I've burnt enough gas in the smooth stuff, hit the restaurant for breakfast then back into the boiling water. Great Weekend.
I'm not a big fan of sitting on the beach. Kinda like going to the dunes and watching the races rather than being one of the racers. Heck Its only water.lol
I may not be the fastest boat out there but I am out there.

Dam I got to get rid of that big a$$ carb I got. From dock 2 to the back it takes me around 10 gallons and if I cruise its around 8 gallons. I can get around 28 gallons in my saddle tanks. I like sandy beach too. If i was still drinking I prolly would like it better there. I guess I just like the rush of running a couple of feet above water. Water is great early morning. I've had some great times up stream. When all the jetters are there its allot of fun.
Anyone going to be there this Sunday? I plan on going to the beach later in the day.
Hope to put a face to the sceen names.

I saw your boat at Saguaro and Canyon a few times in the past couple of years, it does run well, especially out of the hole. I used to run a red picklefork tunnel with an outboard.

My son and I were at Canyon next to you on the beach one time, we never raced, but when you took off, your boat did leave hard!! I currently run a bassboat, I run low 80s on top, but you will kill me out of the hole...

Oh it's plenty fast:devil: So far it's been 78.3 on GPS with 8 to 12 MPH left in her. Just needs to work out the trim tabs.

I was headed to Saguaro today but I really need to relax. Them wake boats are making our local lakes miserable. Its great from 4am til 7am then its a freaking wavefest. Funny how the sheriff will tell me to control my rooster but wont say sh!t to the wake boats. Floundering in the narrows dropping a boarder into the water is going to cost someone. To dam thin in there to do that sh!t.
