Need some help for a friend that is building a new motor and wants to run a Jesel belt driven camshaft but cannot figure out how to drive the cam driven Neovane water pump... Anyone out there doing that and if so how did you attach the water pump?

I made this to drive an injector pump on a jesel about 25 years ago. Gives you a general idea anyway.

Is rough isn't it? I am sure there is a good reason (excuse) why it is that way but damn if I remember why.
Made the warranty period tho. LOL. :D

Thought possibly you made it in between rounds at some point in time.
Whatever it takes right?:)

jesels web sight says accessories available to run fuel pumps etc. might call them.

Oh you can see it got "adapted" or more like multilated at some point in time. And obviously with not the right tools...LOL. It does look like a between rounds mod for sure.
Surely Jesel makes something now. This was back when the belt drives first came out.

The last I knew they were not making a reverse thread bolt with a drive for a water pump. They make the bolt for a fuel pump, but did not make one to run a front distributor and a fuel pump together. They told us to get lost because specialty parts like that don't make them money. Thanks for the help jesel. Also the lip that helps center the pumps is different between a fuel pump and a water pump.
Come to think of it, you could get the fuel pump drive stuff and run a pump like Kuhl, Ron Braksma and others make. They bolt right up to fuel pump stuff.

here is a plate that I just made. My friend scaned it so he can CNC them. The center hole can be made smaller for a water pump.http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/500/P6060009.JPG

I don't have time to make one but I have a friend that has a small machine shop set up at his house who scanned it and would probably make you one. Just let me know what size the hole in the center needs to be. I don't know if the hilborn is the same as an enderle or not. And you would have to drill and tap it for your pump. And make your own spacers to space it out from the belt drive. I will ask my friend what he would charge for one if you are interested.
