I came across a 93 21' daytona with a 2.4 Merc that burned one piston. The boat is in good shape.
Does $6500 sound like a good price?
A little bit of a project but want to make sure it is cost effective.
Thanks

No pics.
Going to look at it this afternoon, but want to get an idea of what something like this in good shape with a good motor would cost. I looked in the trader and other places online and it seems the 21' goes for a lot more than the 19'. Couldn't find a directly comparable boat though, so a price range for a good working boat is what I am looking for I guess.

Seems like a pretty good price for a hull and trailer...

Ya, stopped by to see it after work. Dude forgot to mention the interior was destroyed and the engine was in 50 pieces. Hull looks good though, but not for $6500.

I don't know. $6,500, and thro away the motor. Nota bad price for a 21' Daytona and trailer. Not much different than a bare hull price.

Jerry's right. Daytona's go for $6500 Plus in good shape, empty. That's not the best deal, but not a bad deal. Personally, I think Daytona's are sharp and they're really good, safe lake boats. I would also say, it depends on the layup. I would say the 5-7oolb. boats are going to command a bigger paycheck than the lighter and heavier ones. They seem to run harder.

not bad, but needs interior. 4 or 5k would be better

Decided to blow my $6k on a 19' Lavey tunnel with a 2.0 150 Merc. Wanted a project, but this boat grabbed my eye. And I can hit the water immediately with it. :)
