what size wear ring?

I got my impeller for my legend 12JG from the machinist who took .052" of the wear ring register so the question is what size wear ring do I need to order. my little buddy wants his boat back to running condition.

Standard wear ring is 7.25 and std impeller is .025 smaller 7.225. The come in undersizes in .010 increments.
If your machinst took .052 off then your impeller should be 7.175 which means that you need a wear ring .050 undersize which is 7.200.
In not sure if they make impellers .050 under.

Thanks the register O.D. is 7.198 I need .020 clearence. can I get something off the shelf or should I have my Machinist make one?

There are shops who sell those.. give one a call. I couldnt find any particular tolerances with that imp brand for cutting it down in a search. call to find out if cutting that much is acceptable. that seems like alot of material to remove.. but I'm honestly not sure.
