They sent me that Speedboat Magazine too. I really like the way the reviews are done, and there seems to be a good variety. I thought it was a good magazine.
Still Hot Boat has it hands down in the vintage and true (IMO) Hot Boat catagory - small flattys and jets.

The Cover says:
Life at Full Throttle
SPEEDBOAT
From the Editors of Boating Magazine
I don't see a subscription card in it, but I usually through those away as soon as the magazine leaves the mailbox. I don't see a website listed, but I'm sure a quick Google Search could locate something.

They had a booth at the L.A. Boat Show. I talked to the woman working it and she told me the magazine wasn't selling subscriptions yet. They are still trying to figure out if the magazine has enough people interested in it. I filled out a questioner at the booth. Hopefully the magazine makes it. I really like it.

Well with a cover story like "Top-Secret BASS BOAT Hot Rods" how can they lose? LOL .....and I checked they weren't reviewing big stereos! ;)
I really do like the way the reviews are done though.

it is thats there is some stuff I can relate to,Alot of easy to read motor mods, and real life testing. They did a test to see how much 1MPH cost. They switched 496 for 525s in the same hull,it came out to 20k per mph, with that boat. The test are very clear and easy to read.Im not bashing HB mag,but I can flip through a HB in 30 seconds and never open it again,so far Speedboat has kept my interest.

I've got two issues of the magazine now and can say they both are well written. The tests are informative and if they don't like something with a new boat they don't mix words. Hopefully it is something to subscribe to in the future, but I will keep the Hot Boat subscription as well (Speedboat don't have the hot babes).
