I pick up my 08 F350 tonight, finally. Now the fun begins. I want to put a 6" lift, wheels and tires on it. Any recommendations?

They did my Excursion plus exhaust and air intake. It's the second time they have done one of my rigs and always treat me right.

Ultra27jay here on the boards owns Extreme trucks in Aliso Viejo and is rumored to hook up board members with a good deal.

just had my new 07 2500 lifted by Saddleback Performance. The owner is Dale and it is worth giving him a call to see what he can do for you. Make sure you tell him Tom sent you. His number is 949-380-1895.

Talk to AJ at Baja Motorsports (714)279-0945. He did mine and I have been VERY happy with it. He did have to do some extra fabricating to get a 9" lift out of a dodge though so its not like he just "bolted" on a lift kit. His price beat everyone by far too.

J...the best deal isn't usually the best work though. I would find the shop you feel the most comfortable with and feel the prices are fair. I would give Jay with Extreme a try since he is a board member here and all of his feedback so far has been excellent.

I've had 2 trucks worked on by outlaw and they are pretty good. Kinda bummed me out when i got home after having my truck re-geared only to find the lug cover had fallen off and the nuts were all loose. I've worked with Jay at Extreme and his customer service and pricing cant be beat. Just my .02

Ha ha ha... Jay called my bluff and looks like he came through for me. He talked me out of some things and into some others. Jay, your idea for the wheels works for me. It'll look great.
See you Monday. Have a great weekend.
This is going to be a long weekend waiting for Monday....
I'll post some pics when he is done.

Jays handy work...
8" Fabtech lift with twin fabtech reservoir shocks in front and singels out back.
the wheels are 18" KMC XDs with 37" Toyo mud terrain.
His work, his patience and knowledge of this stuff is top notch.
Hell, he even loaned me one of his project trucks while mine was in his shop.
I'm a customer for life.
Thanks Jay

I had mine done at Outlaw and am very happy. I didnt need to re-gear (4:10's and 35"'s)...if I did, I wouldn't have an off road shop do it, I would have a differential shop do it.

I haven't regeared either. I am waiting for a programmer to be released with the option to recalibrate for larger tires. That should bring all of the shift points back to spec and correct the actual miles per gallon noted in the display. Next is the fabtech dual steering stablizer kit and I should be done for a few days.
Jay, we're on for the weekend right?
