That sounds OK, but 2 oz. of lime juice is going to pucker you up.....I would limit it to the juice from 1/2 of a lime, and float an once of Grand Marnier on top.

5-6 gallons of premix Jose Q. brand Margarita, start addding ice until batch is proper consistancy......makes about 10 gallons, will last up to two days...................UNLESS I take it to the lake, then about 1 day of drunken friends is all it will serve.:D

I'm between days. Back manana and again on Fathers Day. :(
I'll be in Havi next weekend w/the GF & kids. We rented a house to give us some room. It was suppose to be Commanders Regatta, but they canceled it. Should've bought a Lavey.
You gonna be around?

My favorite margarita on the water and at home.
Herradura Silver Tequila
Cointreau
fresh lime juice
sweet & sour
a splash of orange juice
taste best when made in a shaker and served on the rocks
Substitute midori for cointreau for a midori margarita.

Heres how we do it:
1. Open mouth, pour in Margarita mix till back mollers float
2. Pour in 1 Shot of ICED Petron Silver ( you can ice it using a Martini shaker) into gapping Margarita pie hole
3. Close mouth and Shake head violently or intell eyes are rolling around in head and then swollow!
Great family fun and best of all no dirty blender to clean or classes to wash. But you may want to keep a mop and bucket handy:D

1/2 of a container of frozen concentrated lemonade(any flavor)
1/2 of the same container cuervo
1/2 same container Coors light
Blend with lots ice
Try this instead:
1 can frozen Lime-ade concentrate
fill the lime ade can with tequila, dump in
(optional)fill the lime ade can half way with water water, dump in
lots of ice and shake
then dump one can bud/coors light in and mix (just to blend)
Good stuff for the sandbar. Not the best sit down and have a cocktail drink though. One of the tequila/coint/lime recipes is way better for that.

I wasn't coined Dr. Margarita for nothing..... after extensive research throughout Mexico's baja peninsula and the mainland, here's the killer recipe:
Fresh squeezed juice from one medium sized lime ( find the yellow skinned limes, not the thick skinned green ones)
2oz. quality CLEAR tequila of your choice. I like Patron Silver or Don Julio Blanco
1oz. Cointreau or Patron's version of Cointreau (clear bottle with orange ribbon). Triple Sec blows
1oz to 1 1/2 oz simple syrup
splash OJ
hand shake vigorously (any good bartender will tell you tequila likes to be shaken alot!) all ingredients and pour into glass filled with crushed ice, not ice cubes.
Simple syrup (comes bottled in Mexico calle Jarabe): 1 part sugar to 4 parts
boiling water. Dissolve sugar until water is totally clear.
Killer!!!!!!!!!!

Presidente Margarita (like they serve at Chili's)
1 1/4 ounce Sauza Hornitos
1/2 ounce Contreau liqueur
1/2 ounce Presidente brandy
4 ounces Top-shelf mix
quick squeeze of lime
Shake up all ingredients in a bar shaker with ice. Pour into glass with or without the salt (I prefer not).
A gal at BevMo gave me this recipe. She really knows her tequila and has given me some good advice. I make these Maggies all the time now. Love em!
