I thought i would throw these pictures on here. This is our first time out with all three of our boats. My dad has the yellow '78 Sanger, My brother with the blue '80 Sanger, and i have the Eliminator. Ya Ya i know it's a jet but i'm working my way to a v-drive. The blue sanger is a 540 14to1 Dart pro 1 heads. It hauls. the yellow is 454 9.5to1 not much special about the motor but the boat is a med. lay-up so it moves. I have a 454 13to1. runs strong. They are all appropriately named "like father like son" 1,2,& 3 although mine is not painted yet. Gotta love hot boats wink http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_017-med.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_005-med.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_025-med.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_015-med.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_008-med.jpg http://www.***boat.com/image_center/data/524/230Lake_03_024-med.jpg

Thanks everyone. They all go pretty good but not fast enough to touch some of the stuff i've seen at cfw. But who knows we might make an apperance.

Good deal, Ryan.
I rode in your pop's 78 Sanger on Father's Day. It's a fun ride. Even with the mild build on the engine, it really gets up and goes.
I'm glad to see Dan's hydro in the water again. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the engine stays together this time. Maybe I can get a ride in it this year.
And I still haven't even seen your Elim yet!!!
See ya at the lake!

I can't even get my Dad out of the house, let alone buy a boat. "Cars are for point A to point B"
Cool rides

Yeah, I know how it is. My old man smokes my ass with that little 454 and two big 'ol brass balls. But I'll take him in the smooth stuff. :)

So I'm just wondering. What's the difference between "hauls" "moves" and "runs strong" from a numbers point of view? Not to stir up a family feud or nothing.

blue one does 110-115 w/ more in reserve
yellow does 100-105 maybe more cause my pops balls are bigger than his brains. He used to have a blown gas hydro. So this thing is just a little fun for him. Mine goes right about 90 maybe 95. but it screams out of to hole
