So I made this DVD al long time ago and I'm tryin to make some pics off of it. I had to download and buy a damn DVD viewer. I'm watching it on Intervideo Xpack. How do I do the thing where I can copy a full image of my screen? Windows movie maker won't except for whatever reason and I just really wanna save some pics. Tony...

If you're talking about saving a still image, the easiest way (that requires no extra software) is to just pause the DVD then press alt-prtscrn. That will copy the current window to the Windows clipboard. You can then paste that into Microsoft Paint (or any graphics program) by pressing Ctrl-V then strip out the stuff you don't want and end up with a clean image. Hope this helps. :)

That works and is what I usually do. However this method may save a little time.
From the FAQ section of InterVideo. to capture a screenshot.
You can capture a still image during movie playback. Press the [P] key at any time to capture a BMP file of the current frame. Capturedoes not work on zoomed regions and on some hardware motion compensationgraphics chips. If you are experiencing problems with capture, disablethe hardware motion compensation and try capturing again.
You can capture a still image during movie playback. Press the [Capture] button or [P] from your keyboard anytime during a DVD playback to capture a scene into a picture.
Please take note thou that the capture function will not work on zoomed regions and on some hardware motion compensationgraphics chips. It will also not be enabled for AVI (DivX), WMV, MP4, MOV or Real Media (RM) playback. The capture function will only work for MPEG1 and MPEG2 videos like VCD, SVCD and DVD.
Note: The captured images are stored in the Capture sub-directory of the WinDVD directory on your hard drive. Captured files are numbered sequentially: cap001.bmp, cap002.bmp, and so on.
Good Luck

 Thanks for the help guys. I think InterVideo Xpack is a bitch, every time I alt-print scrn I paste it into paint. And from there there is always black around my damn pic, and when I try to chop it and paste it to a new one, it just comes up black:confused:   . I think I'm just gonna throw the computer across the room. And I can't get the automatic take pic from the program cause then I have to upgrade for $39.99:mad:  .... thanks anywho guys, appreciate it
