I talked to the guy that made the mold and built it, pretty cool cat!

Hey guys, is that gas boat just running a straight shaft out to the prop? I've got a small wood flatbottom r/c boat that I'm putting an old, HUGE weedeater motor (should run on nitro-methanol combo) in and figured I would have to fabricate a v-drive for it. This thing will barely float, but it should fing fly. Any suggestions on setup???

I have one of those nitro powered Miss budweiser boats, they are allot of fun but also alot of work too!
Electronics and water never mix very well:idea:
Sometimes it would have a mind of its own when the controler batteries would get low and just steer off into shore.
I have a 200'x300' pond at my house to run it on so if it sinks I can still recover the boat.
I was wishing someone would make a daytona jet version someday:D

Well the owner of these boats is a guy named Dana, and the boats are called DaVette drag boats he sent me a hull for some colors and some redesigning of the bottom, i'm sendint the boat out tomorrow back to him to see how it runs this time, should carry the nose a lil better than the video above!

It is the same type of hull, but ive been doing alot of bottom mods to it and its commin around in a rather large way, the first vid it was runnin around 45-50, the secomd mods had it to 55-60, we will have to see what this new boat will do, i think he's gonna move the hdwr back a "SMIDGE".
