So is he in jail for using a puppy to feed the snake or because of neglect for the snake? What do you usually feed a snake like that?:confused:
Had one of those bit my 6 yeaar old when she stayed the night at a friends house, lucky it didn't swollow her arm, hate snakes!

I knew a guy who feeds guppies to his piranhas. He has two tanks that are adjacent. In one tank, he raises guppies. In the other, he keeps the piranhas. He keeps a piece of cardboard between them. Once in a while, he'll pull the piece of cardboard out and the piranhas immediately glue themselves to the guppy side of the tank, while the guppies all squish against the edge of their tank farthest from the piranhas.
How many biology departments at schools and universities have snakes to which they feed mice? I would think most.
The only difference here is the animal being sacrificed is one that is generally liked by people. That's not to say it has more right to life. ... although under US law, it would seem it does.
By the way, I don't keep pets because I like and respect animals.
