What happened Saturday night? we were chillin on the pontoon boat at the marina when up rolls ambulances,Sheriff trucks, fire trucks and a helicopter with a spot light, I had to leave early Sunday morning and didn't get the scoop. Someone said somebody hit a sand bar? I hope everyone is ok

I read on the other site that someone dove head-first into water that was too shallow...:( I don't know if this is true or not. Whatever happened, I hope that that person is okay. Very sad...:(

I was watching what was going on and one of the Deputies is a friend. I was standing at the dock when the boat pulled in.
The guy dove head first out of their boat into shallow water, causing head and neck trauma. He was transported by Helo but I do not know how bad it was.
Earlier that evening there was a jetski vs. jetboat crash just below Swede's Island. Head trauma and helo transport also.
That was the incident that caused all the code 3 response around 5:30.
