I have a bit of rust on the front of my boat. Anybody ever use something like this? It's rust dissolver. If I can just spend 5 bucks and dissolve the rust that's what I'll do. I just don't want to make it worse.

Is this a glass boat with some kind of rust stain?? Or a metal boat getting rusty?? I cant see what it would hurt, but I've never used it. I have used a similiar product that didnt do a whole lot...

you could use baby powder, toothpaste, or some other light abrasive compound.
