anyone ever had a problem with the built in rev limiter that cut the motor off at 1k rpm before it was soposed to or is this just a bad box.. been doing this since i took it out the box

My rev limiter did not work at all. At first I thought my Tach was lying.
I went MSD after a couple hard to find problems and All was well after that.
