Trying to get this thing finished for my trip the weekend after the 4th. This week i installed the guages, finished up the steering, started wiring and today installed the railkit and motor. It's looking good, finally coming together. I'm hoping to finish up the wiring tomorrow and i need to give superdave a call and see about the plumbing. Maybe fire this thing up mid week next week... we'll see...
Gauges installed, i like these gauges alot, the white and yellow in them match the boat! Order goes oil pressure, oil temperature, water temperature, water pressure.

ya, that thing is pretty tall, especially once you get the carbs on it and the flower pots. I'm trying to keep the look close to the same as when my parents owned the boat, i'm thining about ditching the stacks and maybe going with the shotgun style scoop, that one cyclone used to run, i like the look of those, but we'll see. You dont see many boats with stacks anymore, especially onces this big/tall

Bought a puke tank from rex marine, going to put fittings in the back of the cover and run a line up to it from each valve cover is the plan.. Rex's puke tanks are back ordered though :(

Railkit is Duanes from HTP (hi-techperformance.com) and then the flywheel cover is from lightning but HTP also sells there own cover. The kit is universal and you need to cut it to fit. It is a nice kit though, i would buy it again! I didn't take any degree measurements, i just aligned everything and then filed a little off the plates to get a slight angle. The kit also isn't polished, i had buds polishing polish the kit.
Here's a link to my pics of my rail kit install, it's kinda hard to see the angle in them. http://reitanfamily.com/gallery/v/shaun-bryan-reitan/boat01/RailKitInstall/
