Hi all, kinda new here but been around here for a while as well, still lurk ocasionally. You guys helped me identify an old Mirage/Omega/? daydruiser i had, sold the boat several years ago and moved on to a larger offshore so i am usually on OSO these days. Anyway i have a friend that has a near perfect early 80's thirty foot Sleekcraft and i would like to paint the logo back on it for him. Does anyone have a pic of the logo they used back than? i think the one the company now uses is different. Thanks all

nice! is that the way the logo looked on the boats back than, the one on the brochure page? there was a brown 36 exactly like that in my are years ago. i always thought they looked cool. my buddies is a black 30 with the orange/yellow accents. all original gel coat and looks fantastic,

Here's the Sleek logos throughout the years (the dates are approximates)
The 70's logo they still used on their metal emblems into the 80's
Sometimes on the 80's style they would just put "SLEEK" and leave "CRAFT" off
(note: they didn't put the big side logos on every boat, in fact there were more boats that didn't have them, than did)

great pics guys. heres mine from several years ago. had a heck of a time identifying it, i got it from a marina i do business with and they were having trouble locating the title. luckily they had close contact with the previous owner and i got the title from him. cant remember exactly what it was but i was told that these were probably the most copied boats in history, someone called it a freeway 96(cant remember if that was the #) flyer because they were built in some industrial part in CA right off that highway and the molds changed hands often. as a matter of fact when i did get the title all the numbers matched on the hull/ engine and drive but when i did a search on the manufacturer it was some kayak company :D
hey . . how do i post pics? no linkey to manage attachments like other sites i been on

What year is yours Karl, 83-84 maybe?
1983, it's fairly clean boat.
gave it a new 383 @300hrs
just working my way through the 50mph's now and heading for the 60 mph's SOON....I saw a 56mph one day but who knows how accurate the speedo is:confused: all in all not bad for running the stock cam, heads and exhaust, I figure a new set of TrickFlow Alu. heads and TrickFlow roller cam should do the trick and put the 383 into the 425-450hp area:D my Falcon is a ALL TrickFlow 347cid @ 425hp...so the 383 shouldn't have a problem reaching 425hp:D ..(I hope).
"HavaPaul" on the board has a dupicate to mine
