I wish I had seen this before I returned the PM CC.
Thanks Rex, for squaring my situation up.
As short as I can make it:
A month ago, home burglury.
Laptop stolen, with some passwords/ID's on it for use away from home.
Went arround internet changing passwords, everything fine,
Except
This board runs on a f'd up system, which does not work.
1st, it accepted my password reset, then, denied my password on next login.
It also refused the OLD password.
It claimed it mailed me reset instructions.
It lied.
It lied over a dozen times.
I tried to set up a new ID, under 3 different e-mail addresses, just to get on to access a mod to fix this,
It claimed it sent me an activation link e-mail.
It lied.
It lied, 3 times.

I finally decided to bother Rex1 at work with an e-mail, and he reset me, and sent me the password.
Again, Thx Rex, for bein' all techie helpful and shi+. :D Glad you stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. :D
