Anybody use champion plugs? I currently use Autolite with good success, but i think champion makes a good plug. Also is there a difference in performance with the base $.99 plugs vs. the platnum or double platnum? Do some plugs (champion, autolite, NGK ect) work better in certain type (Ford, Chevy) engines?

Ignore all the type regarding high end double tip spark plugs. Its all bunk. Just stick with the spark plug that is working well for you. There might be a slight difference between a projected nose spark plug and a standard plug. Beyond that, i don't think you will notice much of a difference.

If there is roomn enough, always use a projected nose spark plug. Better flame start location.

Remember, gap is important...make sure you know the distributors requests and output, and any brand plug will work with the proper gap...although I do agree that projected nose plugs get the spark further into the cylinder...it's bound to help. Good Luck!
