View Full Version : Hull # on my Taylor?

I was told by the watercraft dept that I need to get the hull # off my boat. Anyone know where this is at on an SJ? I need to get it legal and on the water. Thanks guys.

P.S. Just got the starter rewired, new battery cables, replaced the fuel lines and rebuilt the carb, hopefully she'll be more reliable now!:)

you are looking for the hin # it should be on the right side of your transom

Yep, just below the hull split seam, where it is on my SS.

Sorry guys I'm new to boat ownership and I'm not up to speed on all the terms yet. Whats the transom, and is this on this inside or outside of the boat?:confused:

What year of boat??
The transom is the vertical piece of the hull at the back of the boat...

Standing behind the boat on the back right side just below the rubrail (the metal strip that goes all the way around the boat).
